Gus and Gee are two genuinely lovely people. The kind of people that made it feel like I wasn’t working this day; more like I was just a guest that also photographed the day. I’m actually requiring these two to be friends with me now that the wedding is all done and dusted – that’s how good this wedding was. Cruisy, heartfelt, and centred around spending time with their guests. No fluffy shit, and no wasted energy on any stress.
After the ceremony, they spent an hour just hanging out with guests and mingling – ain’t no need to be rushing off to portraits straight away. We then did a quick whip around the property to get some photos, and straight back to mingling with everyone. You can definitely get beautiful wedding portraits without sacrificing tonnes of time with your guests.
